Enhancement of Surface Properties of 316L Stainless Steel with Silver Nanoparticles using Airbrush Spray Process

In this study, the surfaces of 316L stainless steel, which is frequently preferred in biomedical applications, were modified with silver nanoparticles (Ag NPs) to improve their antibacterial and anticorrosive properties. Firstly, Ag NPs synthesized using a completely green plant-mediated ultrasound-assisted synthesis method characterized. Next, coated onto surface airbrush spray technique. The examined by SEM, roughness, profilometer, optical microscope, electrochemical corrosion, disk diffusion analyses. average roughness values samples found be moderately suitable for use biomaterials while exhibiting corrosion resistance resistance. coating offers significant potential applications.
